Srdečně vás zveme na workshop tvůrčího psaní a street fotografie s úspěšným brazilským spisovatelem a fotografem Tomem Correiou.
Sraz je před Ústřední knihovnou v Praze. Čeká nás krátká procházka, při které se pokusíme zachytit atmosféru města. Druhá část bude probíhat v knihovně, pořízenými fotografiemi se necháme inspirovat k vytvoření krátkých prozaických textů. Workshop je v angličtině a doba trvání je cca 2 hodiny. S sebou foťák či telefon a něco na psaní.
Pozor! Je třeba si rezervovat místo prostřednictvím registračního formuláře nebo QR kódu.

Tom Correia
Tom Correia je brazilský spisovatel a fotograf. Narodil se a žije v Salvadoru, hlavním městě brazilského spolkového státu Bahia. Je autorem několika povídkových sbírek a fotoknih. Ve své umělecké práci nejčastěji kombinuje literaturu a městské fotografie (street fotografie). Jedná se o elegantní spojení psaného slova a obrazu, které zachycuje městský život ve své skutečné podobě. V Praze je nyní na rezidenci projektu UNESCO Praha město literatury.

Creative Writing and Street Photography Workshop with Tom Correia
Thursday, August 20, 5:30 p.m., meet in front of the Central Library in Prague
We cordially invite you to a creative writing and street photography workshop with the successful Brazilian writer and photographer Tom Correia.
Meet in front of the Central Library in Prague. We’ll take a short walk during which we’ll try to capture the atmosphere of the city. The second part will take place in the library, where we’ll use the photos we’ve taken as inspiration to write short prose pieces.
The workshop will be in English and will last around 2 hours. Please bring a camera or phone and something to write with.
Registration must be made in advance via the registration form or the QR code.

Tom Correia is a Brazilian writer and photographer. He was born and lives in Salvador, the capital of the Brazilian state of Bahia. He is the author of several short story collections and photo books. In his artistic work, he most often combines literature and urban photography. It is an elegant fusion of the written word and the image that captures urban life in its true form. He is currently in Prague as part of the UNESCO Prague City of Literature residency program.
