House of Reading (Ruská)

The Reading House branch is wheelchair accessible. You can connect to free Wi-Fi or use computers with internet access and black and white printing. We organise readings by Czech novelists, poets, authors of educational literature and discussion meetings on various, especially topical, topics. It is possible to pay by card at the branch.

We regularly organise events for children and events for the local community. You can use the Reading House premises to hold your own community events or meetings. The branch offers an extensive collection of audiobooks. Children are entertained in the interestingly equipped children's corner, adults can study in the clubroom or at the lending tables, and in the atrium during the summer months.

The library is easily accessible from metro station Strašnická. Also trams number 22, 7 and 4 from the stop Průběžná, 24 from the stop Kubánské náměstí. A bus 175 passing through a metro station Florenc and Flora stops at the bus station Pod Rapidem directly in front of the library.
